Gift Card Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Roey Rewards program (“Program”), operated by the Roebuck Bay Hotel Group (“The Roey,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By joining, accessing, or using the Program via Zen Global or Me&U, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Validity
Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Expiry dates cannot be extended.

2. Redemption
Gift cards can be redeemed for goods and services at Roebuck Bay Hotel (The Roey), including bars, restaurant, and bottleshop, unless otherwise specified.

3. Not Redeemable for Cash
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, and no change will be given. Any remaining balance will stay on the card for future use.

4. Partial Use
If the total transaction exceeds the gift card value, the remaining balance must be paid using another accepted payment method.

5. Lost or Stolen Cards
Gift cards should be treated like cash. Lost, stolen, or damaged cards will not be replaced or refunded.

6. Non-Transferable / Resale
Gift cards must not be resold, and the venue reserves the right to cancel any card suspected of fraudulent activity.

7. Alcohol & Legal Compliance
Gift cards can be used to purchase alcohol, however all purchases are subject to:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws

  • Proof of age requirements

  • Local restrictions (including Broome/Section 64 conditions)

The venue reserves the right to refuse service in line with licensing laws.

8. Refunds
Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.

9. Promotions & Discounts
Gift cards cannot be used in conjunction with certain promotions or discounts unless explicitly stated.

10. Balance Enquiries
Card balances can be checked in venue or via designated platform (if applicable).

11. Changes to Terms
The Roebuck Bay Hotel reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time, in accordance with applicable laws.Contact Us
