Fremantle born and bred, cruzin the pubs 'n' clubs on the strip gettin the vibe of the music and the Dj's which soon became a fascination. Brought my first turntables and rattled the neighbors door's 'n' windows night after night much to there disgust and complaints. Soon enough was mixin it up at private and warehouse parties......By this stage I was hooked on mixing music and was lucky enough to land on the decks at the RISE in Northbridge and dance became my life.

The Goose Club

For twenty years The Goose Club has been raising money for local charities in and around Broome. The infamous Chook and founder of the Goose Club have now raised in excess of $500,000.00. "Well done Chook".

Kyle Andrews foundation

The Kyle Andrews Foundation was established as a legacy to a brave young Broome boy, Kyle Andrews who lost his battle with cancer at the age of 11. Their main goals are:

• to ensure that Kyle\'s Camp runs in Broome annually to help children from Ward 3B in Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) fight their battle with cancer
• to provide accommodation in Kyle\'s Cottage in Broome for the families of kids suffering from serious illness to get away as a family to experience Broome
• to financially support Broome families with kids suffering from cancer
• to support Ronald McDonald House where kids and their families from regional areas stay during their treatment at PMH.

The Roey has long been a major financial supporter of the Kyle Andrews Foundation with our Goose Club raffle running every Saturday morning in support of this important charity. So come on down and show your support!

Lioness\' Club of Broome

The Roey/Bungalow Bar has been raising money for the Lioness Club for some years now. 2008 was a great year for fundraising with the \'AIRNORTH CHARITY AUCTION\' held at the Bungalow Bar in June where we raised $22,430.50 to go towards the new patient transfer facility at Broome International Airport.

tsunami appeal

The Roey and other local business got together in the Sports Bar and raised over $70,000.00 to go directly to the people who were affected by this tragic devastation. This was a huge event by all and everyone involved should be very proud of the outcome.

RSL club of broome

The Roey are also sponsors of our local RSL Club donating money and product to the RSL every time they have a charity day. We are proud to be apart of their charity events and will continue our relationship for years to come.

Shinju Matsuri

Shinju Matsuri (which is Japanese for “Festival of the Pearl”) is an opportunity to recognise the many different cultures that have existed harmoniously in Broome for over a century whilst showcasing Broome’s natural beauty, unique history and diverse character to the outside world.

The Roey is a major sponsor of the Shinju Festival and every year, Sammy the Dragon and his ‘legs’ come to the Oasis Bar for a beer after the annual street parade. So come and have a beer with Sammy!

Towns football club

2008 Premiers is another group The Roey is excited about being apart off. Being a major sponsor of the Towns Footy Club for 11 years has been beneficial to both parties. We wish Townies the best in 2011. Kick arse guys!

Broome surf club

The Roey has been involved with The Broome Surf Club in the way of donations of money and products for their events. We have been involved with the surf club for some time now and will continue to do so.

Broome soccer assoc.

 Hagan's Hero's are proud sponsors of our local soccer association. From donating money and using the Roey premises for their events, Hagan's Hero's also take charge of looking after Football West every time they come to town. Drink, Drink, Drink...
